"Help me, I'm dying," moans a South Korean soldier, doing his best impersonation of a gut-shot casualty during a medic's advanced training session near the DMZ, where skirmishes can turn deadly. Beyond the posturing and saber-rattling, a half century of provocations have resulted in the deaths of 1,373 people, and hundreds more wounded in action.
